Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of ThunderCV, a resume building service operated by ThunderCV ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

ThunderCV lets you create, import, preview and download resumes using a set of templates, and provides supporting tools such as an ATS compatibility checker and a job-description matcher. The service runs in your browser and does not require an account.

3. Your content

You keep full ownership of everything you enter or upload. We claim no rights over your resume. Because your content is processed only in your browser and is not stored on our servers, you are responsible for keeping your own copy — download your PDF before closing the tab.

You agree not to use ThunderCV to create documents that:

• contain knowingly false claims about qualifications, employment or identity;
• impersonate another person;
• infringe someone else's intellectual property; or
• are unlawful in your jurisdiction.

4. Pricing and payment

• Building, editing and previewing your resume are free, as are the JD matcher and the cover letter generator. No account is required for any of them.
• Downloading your resume is a one-time charge of ₹49, which buys one download of your resume in any of the 19 templates. There is no subscription and nothing auto-renews.
• Every paid download includes one free re-download, valid for 3 days, so you can correct a mistake without paying again. That is two downloads in total per payment; after the second, or after 3 days, a further download is a new ₹49 purchase. Full details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• We will never charge you twice for the same resume by accident: before any payment screen is shown, we check whether you already have a download or a free re-download available, and use that instead.
• The ATS compatibility check is a one-time ₹29, in the builder or as a standalone check on a resume you already have. It is included at no extra cost with any premium download.
• Launch promotion: until the end of 31 August 2026, every template — including premium ones — are available free of charge. Standard pricing resumes automatically after that date.

All prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

5. Refunds and re-downloads

Because a download delivers the finished file immediately, paid downloads are generally non-refundable. If a payment succeeded but the download failed, or you were charged more than once for the same download, use our contact page within 7 days with the payment reference and we will refund the affected amount.

If you simply need to correct something, you do not need a refund: each payment includes one free re-download, valid for 3 days. If you are on the same device we recognise you automatically; otherwise enter the email address you paid with as your promo code. 6. Templates and intellectual property

The ThunderCV name, site design, code and template layouts belong to ThunderCV. Buying or using a template grants you a personal licence to produce and use resumes for your own job applications. It does not permit reselling, redistributing or republishing the templates themselves, or offering them as part of a competing product.

7. No guarantee of results

ThunderCV is a formatting and analysis tool. We do not guarantee that using it will get you interviews, job offers, or a passing score in any particular employer's Applicant Tracking System. ATS scores and keyword suggestions are heuristics intended as guidance, not a certification, and different employers configure their systems differently.

8. Availability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThunderCV is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of ThunderCV, including lost job opportunities or lost data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the preceding twelve months.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page, and continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
