1. No guarantee of employment

ThunderCV is a formatting and analysis tool. Using it does not guarantee interviews, job offers, shortlisting, or any particular hiring outcome. Hiring decisions rest entirely with employers and depend on factors far outside a document's formatting.

2. ATS scores are heuristics, not certifications

The ATS compatibility score and the job-description match percentage are produced by our own rules, checking things that commonly cause resumes to parse badly. They are guidance, not a verdict.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by any Applicant Tracking System vendor — including Naukri, Workday, Taleo, SuccessFactors, Greenhouse or any other. Employers configure those systems differently, and a high score here does not guarantee your resume will be parsed or ranked well by any specific employer's system. Equally, a low score does not mean you will be rejected.

3. Company names and trademarks

Company names, logos and trademarks shown anywhere on this site are the property of their respective owners. They are used descriptively — to indicate the kinds of employers and hiring systems our templates are formatted for — and their appearance does not imply any partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, or that anyone was hired at those companies using ThunderCV.

4. Advertising disclosure

Some pages may display advertising served by third-party networks, including Google AdSense. Ads are labelled as such and are selected by those networks, not by us. We do not endorse advertised products or services, and an advertisement's presence is not a recommendation. 5. Editorial content is general advice

Articles in our career blog and the usage guide are general information for a broad audience. They are not personalised career, legal, financial or immigration advice, and they may not suit your particular circumstances. Nothing on this site creates a professional or advisory relationship.

6. Accuracy of your own content

You are solely responsible for the truth of everything in your resume. ThunderCV does not verify your employment history, qualifications, dates or achievements, and the importer may misread a document's layout. Always review the imported result before you send it anywhere — particularly job titles, employers and dates.

7. Availability and data loss

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Because your resume is held only in your browser and never on our servers, reloading or closing the tab clears your work. Download your file before you leave. We are not liable for work lost this way.

8. External links

We link to third-party sites such as job boards and reference material. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThunderCV is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of ThunderCV, including lost job opportunities or lost data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the preceding twelve months. See the Terms of Service for the full position.
